Born in New Jersey Ben Aresty, grew up with the nickname “The Whistler.” This is where his love for music began. Inspired by nature and the songs his dad always listened to. Classics such as Steely Dan and James Taylor and Bob Dylan playing in the car, by the pool, or on the boat down at the shore. 

Ben started writing songs in 2013 while living in Stinson Beach, California. It has become a way for him to alchemise his feelings into something special:. Songs that are rooted in authentic music and lyrics that tell real stories. 

Each song on this debut album from Aresty. tells a story of a captured moment. Moments of joy and hope, and others from heartbreak and sadness. Seeking connection. Navigating the childhood wounds we get to work through if we choose. All of this happens in the field of love.
